Sometimes we ladies are our own worst enemies. Everyone of us have had those days when we feel like we just do not count. Whether we feel we are not pretty enough, young enough, thin enough, smart enough, or spiritual enough the Lord thought enough of us to give his life for us so we can spend eternity with Him. He did this for everyone of us because He knew we were worth the price. So the next time you are having one of those days, remember what Jesus did for you, because He knew you were worth it.

- Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Helen Retana and I am the Reluctant Prophetess. I am a Messianic Jew who works in the Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance. And if you had told me five years ago that I would be writing a blog about listening to God and my personal experiences working with the Lord in these gifts, I would have laughed myself silly and asked you to take your meshuganah self out of my house. I did not believe in anything that dealt with “spiritual gifts”. I thought that is how television evangelists fleeced desperate people out of their money. That was until these gifts began to make my life very interesting. I want to invite you to explore with me the art of listening to God. Come along as I share my adventures in following where the Lord leads and having enough chutzpah to act on those “nudges from above”. It is true we have days when we FEEL like we lack the body image society dictates to us how we should look like, or we FEEL that our spiritual growth is not growing as fast as we like. But satan likes it when we don't FEEL good about ourselves and works on discouraging us and wants us not to think about how much God loves us.
On Those days we need to reflect what does God does think about how I look like..he will let us know..he thinks we are beautiful..he loves us just the way we are..we grow more beautiful when we see ourselves through his eyes and not the worlds. We just need to be patient..society dictates to us to wait something fast..easy..quick but God is into patiences..slow to speak..quick to listen to him and others..be patience with him, he is creating a beautiful unique special spiritual warrior within your heart as you read His word..he gives us what we need every day.each day he reveals to us his treasure because we are his jewels.if he does not give more to you..it's because he knows you are not ready yet to handle it yet..but be patient because he will when he knows we are ready..he knows because he is the wisest in the universe..enjoy each day with what God has planned for you in the end when the race is finished you will be rewarded with a crown and to walk the streets of God with him..Amen Praise the Lord.
